The
Idlers 4WD Club.
A
Club of about 100 vehicles that
caters for the needs
of those who, like
us, are retired and
wish to use their
4WD vehicle properly
and travel with like
minded people during
off-peak periods.
They plan trips to
avoid weekends,
public and school
holidays. They
enjoy camping when
most are at work or
at school.
Trips, the full
spectrum of
difficulty are
covered, are run
regularly from
one-day events to
extended safaris.
Some trips adopt
travel with
overnight stops,
while others may
have base camps from
which to explore the
surrounding areas.
Accredited VAFWDC
Driver Training is
available. The
club also has a very
active
"social"
element.

or over public
holidays, ranging
from one day to
three days.
However, there is
also a touring
element that has
been on numerous
extended interstate
trips.
The club offers
training, conducted
by club members,
from
their "New
Members Day"
introduction to
4WDing, through to
