Merrington's Flat
Merrington's
Flat is a few kilometres south of Aberfeldy which is approximately 150km due
east of Melbourne.
Access is via the Princess Highway to Moe, then north along the Thomson Valley road through the Baw Baw National Park and just past the magnificent Thompson Reservoir.
The bush campground is on Donnelly Creek and although accessible by conventional vehicle, 4WD is recommended.
Attractions.

Gold. This area is riddled with relics of the Gold rush era.

4WDing on many of the steep tracks that are throughout this area.

Bushwalking, with the highlight being the walk to the "Waterwheel", deep in the bush near Store Point.
